About the Author
Raised as a young child in the country, Dianne grew up with a love of nature. Her interests are many , but her first impression of life's perfect job was influenced by a grandmother who was a nurse. This benefited the many animals and birds that hopped and walked throughout Dianne's life experiences.

Dianne kept a journal from the age of eleven, which honed her writing talent. While raising her children, she pioneered as a carpenter, working in the field for her contractor husband. Years later, she owned and managed a summer resort in the north and still found the odd opportunity to canoe and to ride her horse.

Once more, her life choices altered and, influenced by a position as distribution manager in a publishing company and then later as a librarian assistant at the University of Guelph, she realized books were where her heart was. Dianne took many courses in computers and writing to improve her abilities. Writing is still her greatest love.
Dianne now lives in St. Catherines. She has three adult children and six grandchildren.
