Join The Exile Writers Series for the launch of four books:

Alphabestiary by H. Masud Taj and Bruce Meyer
The Hermit in Arcadia by Richard Teleky
Dinner with Catherine the Great by Vladimir Azarov
A Book of Bread by Bruce Meyer

Plus, readings from recent issues of ELQ/Exile Magazine:

Frank Westcott is a lyricist, musician, poet and writer of both fiction and non-fiction for children and adults. His story (Issue 35.1) won the “emerging” category the inaugural $5,000 Short Fiction competition.
Zoe Stikeman (Issue 35.2) won first prize in the 2010 Writer’s Union of Canada’s Short Prose Competition, received an honourable mention for the Katherine Anne Porter Prize for Fiction in the 2006 Nimrod/Hardman Awards, and was shortlisted for the 2011 CBC Literary Awards.
Alison Taylor (Issue 35.3) is a writer, stand-up comic and freelance television and film editor living in Parkdale, Toronto. This is her first published fiction. She is working on her first novel.

Special guest Grant Curle, a stand-up bass musician, will be providing music during this evening.

From 7:15-8:15p.m. there will food and drinks from the menu. Readings begin 8:15p.m. Admission is FREE.
