In Luminato’s second year partnering with Hay Festivals, three key authors from Latin America join the festival
to talk about the explosion of writing happening in the Spanish speaking world and the intersection between
writing and politics.

Join the following authors at this event:

Colombian novelist, Laura Restrepo, the bestselling author of six novels, including The Dark Bride, A Tale of
the Dispossessed
and Delirio, which received Spain's prestigious Premio Alfaguara.

Santiago Roncagliolo, born in Lima, Peru and a member of Bogota39, is one of the most versatile and unpredictable writers in the Spanish language. In 2006 he also won the Premio Alfaguara with a political thriller, Red April. In 2010 he published his latest novel, Tan cerca de la vida.

A third writer will join this panel and will be announced shortly.

Tickets: $20
