The collaborative Coach House / Maytree anthology, Five Good Ideas: Practical Strategies for Non-Profit Success, evolved from a series of lunch-time discussions that Maytree hosted over the past eight years. Fittingly, the book's October launch will revisit its conversational origins.

Expect live interviews with both of the editors: Maytree Chairman Alan Broadbent, one of Canada's leading advocates for urban development, and Maytree President Ratna Omidvar, whose advocacy for workplace diversity and immigration reform awarded her a 2006 Order of Canada. Several contributors will also be there to read their work and answer questions.

The event is free of charge, although those who long to spent money can leave with a copy of the book in hand.
