Lucile Barker is a Toronto poet, writer and activist who has written since swiping her grandmother’s fountain pen and her mother’s ink. Time spent in the corner gave her more writing opportunities. She may have the world’s largest rejection slip collection. There are no plans for an exhibit of these.

Her many print publications include both poetry and fiction and have appeared in Origins, Mamashee, B.C. Review and Memewar. Other online publications include Connotations, Wordsmith, Menacing Hedge and Ginger Piglet.

Since 1994, she has been the co-ordinator of the Joy of Writing, a weekly workshop at the Ralph Thornton Centre.

Will of Peace is married to journalism, but poetry is his first love. Will of Peace started performing at 17, when he had a lot more pimples and a lot less confidence. He’s performed in competitions, showcases and festivals across the GTA and small town Ontario. He’s competed in Canada’s national poetry slam, the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word, in Saskatoon with team Mississauga and finished fourth in Ontario’s slam poetry championship on the Bill Brown team.

A YouTube video of his performances even has a whopping 180 views and an impressive 6 likes. Will of Peace thanks you for being an audience and he hopes you enjoy.
