Are you a teacher, librarian, or student of those disciplines? For the first time ever TCAF is doing a special day of programming just for you.

Comic books, manga and graphic novels are now staples in school and public libraries across Canada. High interest, high-circulation and high-excitement, these fantastic additions have been a boon to the libraries who have embraced them. But with any popular new category comes both new challenges and new opportunities.

The Toronto Comic Arts Festival, the preeminent comic book and graphic novel event in Canada, now teams with The Beguiling Library Services to host a full day of programming dedicated to explaining, expanding, and building graphic novel knowledge. Featuring presentations, panels, and workshops by a host of librarians and educators from across North America, as well as some of the biggest names and bestselling authors in graphic novel publishing, this is an event not to be missed for any librarian who has — or may have in
the future — graphic novels in their library.

Admission is free but requires pre-registration.

Attendance to this event is limited to librarians, educators and students of those disciplines. You will require identification at the door.
