Mini Lit at the Drake

Bunch, The Drake Hotel, Mabel's Fables and Open Book hosted Mini Lit at the Drake Hotel on Saturday, October 13, 2007. Kids and adults nibbled kid-friendly (and kid-tasty) hors d’oeuvres while enjoying hugely entertaining readings and performances by three outstanding Canadian authors. Sean Dixon played the banjo and read from The Feathered Cloak; Loris Lesynski read and performed from Dirty Dog Boogie, Nothing Beats a Pizza, I Did It Because... and Shoe Shakes; and Shane Peacock read from Eye of the Crow. Between the readings, the crowd was entertained by N.I. Gel.
