Dear Reader,

Open Book: Toronto's Overlooked Book Contest is on until December 20th. Send in the title of a Canadian book that you think deserves more attention, and you'll be entered in a draw for $100 dollar gift certificate for Pages Books & Magazines. Submit your Overlooked Book title to our Facebook discussion board or by email to info@openbooktoronto.com with the subject line "Overlooked Book." Open Book will compile an Overlooked Reading List from your entries and post it on our site.

Anne Hines is Open Book's December Writer in Residence. She is the author of the novels Fishing Up the Moon, The Spiral Garden, Come Away: song of songs, and one collection of nonfiction humour, A Year In HineSight. Check out her Open Book blog to read how writing can save your sanity, to discover the meaning of life, and to find an inspirational quote to help you through the day. As always, you can send your questions and comments for Anne to writer@openbooktoronto.com.

Visit our News Page to read Open Book's 10 Questions with Jane Hall, author of The Red Wall: A Woman in the RCMP.
