On Monday, June 16 the Trillium Book Awards will be hosting an evening of author readings, followed by a reception in honour of the 2014 Trillium Book Award nominees. The free event will take place at the Toronto Reference Library's Bram & Bluma Appel Salon, doors will open at 6:30pm with the readings beginning at 7:00pm.

Many of the nominated authors have confirmed their participation for the event and more authors may still be added to the line-up. Participating authors in English language currently confirmed are: Craig Davidson (Cataract City), Barry Dempster (The Outside World), Helen Humphreys (Nocturne), Hannah Moscovitch (This is War), Peter Unwin (Life Without Death and Other Stories), Adam Dickinson (The Polymers), and Souvankham Thammavongsa (Light). French-language authors participating are: Marguerite Andersen (La mauvaise mère), Philippe Porée-Kurrer (Les Gardiens de l’Onirisphère), Danièle Vallée (Sous la jupe), Daniel Groleau Landry (Rêver au réel), et Michèle Matteau (Le fol aujourd’hui).

This is a first come, first seated event. In order to secure your spot, you can register your attendance.
