Attention Creative Writers: Upcoming Deadline for the 2010 School of Writing

Writers who are interested in attending the 2010 School of Writing at Canadian Mennonite University need to get their applications in by March 1. The school runs from May 10 to14 and "offers participatory workshops on Poetry, Fiction, Life Writing, and Writing for Children & Young Adults, along with one-on-one meetings with instructors."

From the School of Writing:

Creative Writers are encouraged to apply to the School, now in its 4th year. From May 10-14, 2010, Margaret Sweatman (fiction), Barbara Nickel (poetry), Joanne Klassen (life writing), and Anita Daher (writing for children & young adults) will be offering courses in a supportive and challenging environment for writers of all skill and experience levels.

The School of Writing is held at Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg, a beautiful and hospitable environment. Cost is $520, which includes some meals and bursaries are available. Accommodations are available.
