"A book filled with guts and glory" – Cara Hedley Interviewed by Uptown Magazine

Author, graduate student, and former member of the University of Manitoba Bisons women's hockey team Cara Hedley was interviewed by Winnipeg’s Uptown Magazine about her first novel, Twenty Miles (Coach House Books, 2007). Twenty Miles “celebrates women’s hockey and offers an uncompromising look at the ways in which the sport haunts the women who play it.” In the interview, Hedley talks about hockey culture and how her own experiences on a hockey team influenced her writing. Read the Uptown Magazine interview and check out Twenty Miles on the Coach House website.
