The University of Wales has announced the 2011 shortlist for the Dylan Thomas Prize. We are thrilled to see that Canadian poet, blogger, literary critic and former Open Book writer in residence, Jacob McArthur Mooney, is nominated for the prestigious prize for his collection of poetry, Folk (McClelland & Stewart).

Worth £30,000, the Dylan Thomas Prize is one of the world’s highest paying literary awards. It is open to published writers aged 18 to 30 who write in the English language.
