Submitted by amanda on September 28, 2012 - 12:25pm
This week, Open Book: Ontario posted three fantastic author interviews: Elizabeth Radmore talks about the third and final installment of her Cushla trilogy, including how the protagonist evolved, how she used her own experiences searching for work with her father in Ireland as inspiration, and how Cushla became a trilogy. Urve Tamberg discusses her book, The Darkest Corner of the World, from why she decided to target the young adult market to how she incorporated her childhood into her work. Jennifer DeBruin chats about her debut novel, A Walk With Mary, including the historical research that formed its backbone, her inspiration, and the biggest challenge she faced in its creation and publication.
