How many people are "embracing" e-readers? This info graphic allegedly tells us. But you know, I've got one of those things. For the last month it has been laying on the floor of my office, where my 18-month-old daughter plays with it on a daily basis. Can't really think of a better use for it.

We've all heard about Amazon taking the middleman out of the publishing game by functioning as both bookseller and publisher for some authors. Well, the Toronto Public Library (not the first to do this) has taken it a step further and removed the actual books from the equation with their Human Books program.
